| GDU's are calculated by taking the high above 50 degrees and subtracting 50 degrees from it to a max high of 86. Then you take the low above 50 degrees and subtract 50 from it. Take these two numbers together and divide by two. For example a high of 86 (highest you can go) and a low of 70. 86-50= 36+ (70-50)= 56/2= 28 GDU's. Right now we are averaging like 75 degrees and 45 degrees so we would have 12.5 GDU's per day. | |
