Kentucky | I thought I was the only one who had beaver damage! While I'm sure these pics are not beaver, it did make me think of the large circles of damage they can do. Usually the circles are teardrop shaped with lots of stalks chewed off and dragged down the creek bank. Mostly bare ground in the field instead of trampled.
I've not seen bear damage, but would say it looks like a larger animal than a raccoon. If it were on my farm, I'd guess deer, but it sounds like the bear is leading the vote. | |
