southern MN | Southern MN, we were late planting corn because of rain & cold. Not real bad, but late.
Was a cool summer mostly, corn & beans are both several weeks late, beans are still real green around me, corn is just denting, but not all of it dented yet. Folks are just thinking of filling silo, not too much activity yet tho.
Often beans are starting to turn color 2 weeks ago; very very little is turning here as of today.
Should be 39 degrees over nite, with talk of frosty patches north of me.
Kinda scary.
