NW Mississippi
I am also in my 20's. I am a 5th generation farmer. Other than leaving for college and living in the northwest for a couple of years, I was on the farm since day 1 with my Dad and Grandad.
I think some of the older men on here have given you very good advice. I do not see how anyone in your situation could make it farming on any level without some type of mentor. As many questions as one could ask, there is really no substitution for hands on experience. And even after 20 or so years of farming "experience", I thought I knew everything when I came back several years ago to farm full time....... I was very wrong. If there is anything I could help you with around the area, shoot me an email and I will do what I can. [email protected]
