canada | I was doing the math last night in central alberta. I am looking to buy manure, seed peas, or summerfallow my less productive land (without history of manure). On my land with manure history I can back off my yield targets and still get 70 bu of feed barley with 30 lbs of N so that might be an option.
But in high risk areas I dont see the risk vs return being worth it with .90/lb N and 1.00/lb P. I see a lot of summefallow for next year.
