I put a porch on our house back in 1996. Consumer Reports had an article on the best deck sealers. I believe at that time it was Olympic and that is what I used. I bought a few extra gallons and re-sealed it a few years later. The deck is still in great shape 19 years later. But it does have a roof over it, which definitely helps.
