| The most important thing with no-till wheat is getting a good stand. It doesn't matter what kind of drill you use, wheat will not survive planted in corn stalks, it must be in the soil. Be sure that you are getting good penatration. It will probably look like you are planting too deep. Check seeding depth to the top of the soil, not the top of the residue.
You also need good weed control. Usually need either a burn down at planting or a fall post emerge for winter annual weeds. | |
