Subject: notill wheat after corn tips

mora
finished up with corn on labor day, after another very dry year(-14" of rain for year, not counting last year). beans are just starting to turn yellow this past week. dont know if there will be anything there, scared to look. i want to get wheat in my rotation(good pricing opertunities) and i like what it does for the soil. i would like to do it after corn. reasons. (1) usually start shelling corn the last of august to first of september so it gives good early planting (fly free date oct 8 here) (2) can fertilize corn a little heavy to hope for good crop(ie if it rains), if not maximize fertilizer (3) would rather no-till corn after beans and not wheat, dc beans rotation. any help very thankful for.

kevin
