S.E. Nebr. | We're trying Pulmotil in our lactation feed for the first time on a group of sows. We notched the pigs and will move them out of the nursery Tuesday. So we'll see if any difference in the pigs. This is what I go with. When I wean the pigs I use Denogard CTC in the first phase nursery pellets. Then I use Mecadox in the first grind and mix phase. Then I go to 100 grams of Tylan till we move them to the finisher. Then back to Mecadox for a couple of weeks, then 100 gram of Tylan till 100 lbs. Nothing after that. Very seldom do I have any resp. problems. If I do I use Tylosin injectable. Seems to work for me.
I used Linco a couple of years ago but didn't see much gain out of it. | |
