We vaccinate and its worked for us but was told that it would work on some strains but others it might kill the pigs. guess we were lucky. Vaccinate at about 7 to 8 weeks. Long acting pennicillen was the treatment we used before vac. but you've got to watch withdrawal. It would turn a bunch around overnight.
