Subject: Cows Bunching In Summer

We are having a heck of a time with our milk cows bunching up at one end of the barn, it only happens in the summer. They will only use about a third of the barn and most of them end up standing all day and it really affects thier feet. At night they are spread all through the barn. We have ten 48 inch fans which blow the air from west to east lenth wise, but the dumb buggers stand under the first two fans where they won't get any benifit at all. Friends of ours put in some big ass fans and said they helped, our ceiling is 14' and was told it's too low for these fans. Was wondering if anyone has had this happen and what they did to fix it.Thanks Ed.
