| Tipback is about 15 to 20 kernels here in wcil. I have heard this is true thruout cil. The local fertilizer co (Bramdts) has done tissue test and shows low potauium . They call it lazy root, the fields have had ideal rain and the roots did not have to grow to find fertilizer early and now do not have the roots to bring in the potassium. Have not heard any better explaination, I am disappointed but not anything I can do at this point in time. I think this is much more widespread than most farmers think. I know farmers who have said this is not a problem on their farm but after looking they are saying they have the same problem. Don't look for the great yields this year. Don | |
