Subject: Shout out to the dairy folks

Sumner GA, Located in southwest GA,
I have been contemplating starting a dairy, and this leads to the question, what is your outlook on the dairy situation? Would this be the time? I'm looking at this from a standpoint of I want to maintain a dairy that I would be to run with little to no outside labor, figuring can maintain around 50 to 60 cows. I just wonder, would this be a good decision to make. I have to do something to be able to stay on the farm, and I have neither the resources nor the ambition to become a BTO. That doesn't fit me. Dairying looks like my best shot. Sorry for the long story, but like I said earlier, is it possible, and is there a future in a smaller dairy? TIA
