I also have a Tekonsha and am pleased. On my 01 Chevy there was a pigtail wire in the glove box that plugs into the fuse panel above the brake pedal and you wire your controler into it. Then there was a folded up wire harness under the bed to wire into the female trailer plug. Much easier than running all the wires as in the past. My truck did have the trailer package, so the extra wiring may not come on all trucks? I always wondered how the all electric controlers worked since it was not plumbed into the master cylinder, but after reading the manual it has a pendulum that swings forward farther the harder you brake sending more juice to the brakes. There is a knob on the left of your controller to center this pendulum if your controller is mounted at an angle. Craig
