Too close to Raleigh, NC | I have used Tekonsha Voyager, Tekonsha Prodigy, and the Jordan Ultima (currently on CTD). With my big trailer the Tekonsha's were a little more noticable when they kicked in compared to the Jordan. Not necessarily a bad thing but not as smooth as the Jordan. There is a running debate on irv2.com and other rv sites over the best brake controller. BrakeSmart systems seem to have as loyal a following as anybody but I have only heard about them, never used one. Any of the above systems can be made to work well, just depends on what you want or are willing to settle for. | |
