Subject: Tekonsha - Prodigy

central - east central Minnesota -
There are many different brands of brake controlers out there. If you do some 'net research' on many of the trailering sites - the most popular controler is Tekonsha Prodigy. This one is nice as it is self leveling and has 3 power levels meaning once you have the power level set and then you load the trailer heavyer you just push a button to gain more braking power - up to 3 power increase (very nice feacher). This is the second one I have owned. As far as hooking them up - only experence I have had is with new pickup's. Basiclly plug and play, as the new trks are prewired. I mounted mine to the right of my right leg so I can get at the thumb switch (manual switch) for emergence stopping (so put it were you can easyly reach it). Good luck
