Subject: Re: Goat weedeaters?

West Texas
No weeds to be found in my dads' Boer goat pens. Stalks, maybe, but they aren't gonna grow any more. If it's green, they will at least sample it, and if they find it tasty, they'll eat it down to bare cellulose. Any unprotected trees will be de-barked and de-leaved.

Two strands of electric fencing will keep them confined during the day, but at night, or when you can't keep an eye on them, you'll want a more secure pen.

Warning: goats climb. And jump. You'll find them in the darndest places.
