SE SD | At the farm in Parkston we had 3.68 inches of rain in April, 1.12inches in May, 2.48 for June, .32 for July, 5.56 for August and 2.11 as of September 12. It is not the lack of rain we had it is the 110 degree weather we had during pollination that killed us some of the corn was pollinating and some was not. We have 16 rows of corn that will be around a 100 bushel then the other # of corn in the other 16 rows will be about 30. The .32 for July really stung. The beans look excellent. | |
