Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums.
Will the landowner allow you to apply sludge? Around here the sludge company will apply sludge and chisel it in for free. The limit they can apply is determined by pH. The sludge is treated with lime and significantly raises the pH. It will make one heck of a corn crop the year after sludge. If we had land with that low pH around here, the bio-solid people would be beating a path to your door. Not allowed on vegetable fields.
