Somebody has been mining that farm! You have to invest in lime, or move away from it one. While not familiar with your soils, a 4.7 pH is pretty seriously low. What size acreage do the different samples represent? Is there some chance they could be skewed a little low?

Consider precision ag and grid sampling. You may be able to justify variable rate lime here pretty fast.

Show the landowner the soil test results. You need some type of long term lease, or cost share on the lime one. If you do grid sampling, show him the results maps.
