South cental Ohio | I planted some soybeans in a field after I baled the timothy off. It turned dry and the beans didn't get very tall. That made it easier to dry them and square bale them. I planted them super thick so the stems would stay small, that helped too. In a bale they looked like alfalfa. Cows ate em, better than snowballs. As long as you can get them dry you should be alright. Another thing is for some reason mice loved living in the bales so be careful where you store them. | |
