| I have around $30. a acre in herbicides this year however conventional beans were planted on days preceding bad weather and about a third were spotted back in two weeks later and some stands are thin making for respraying and and a few weeds here and there, one of the drawbacks of conventional beans. I am getting $1.25 over futures price for beans for tofu however and this will pay for a lot of chemical expense. Compared with $70 a bag seed this would save around $80 a acre. Even if you like rounup beans I would ask every seed dealer you run across about non gmo and liberty beans, the might wake up and lighten up on their pricing. | |
