When I was a wee coach, I slugged a lot of bags of epsom salts to the apple growers in this area that is Mg deficient in the soil. There are better products than epsom salts to get mg into the plant. Think of all of the additives in glyphosate to get in into the plant as a foliar. Mg is important for chlorophyl production as said earlier.
Also, consider Manganese if they are RR soys. There is a lot of evidence that glyphosate ties up Mn in the plant, and soys need good Mn levels to make use of N. You will see yellowing between the veins if this is the case.
