North Western Alberta | That canola looks pretty similar to mine Id say. Any yield estimates on yours? Im guessing 35bu/acre? Im guessing mine to be 25 to 30 bu/acre, which for the year, will be outstanding.
Rosco, yeah, there are alot of guys here that will be swathing in a couple weeks. I put down 115lbs/acre of nitrogen, so my canola is hanging on a bit. I would think 3 weeks, and I will be looking at swathing. My barley, I will be combining by the end of the month, easy.
I am still amazed at how good my crops are for the amount of precipitation we have had. Baffles the heck out of me, but its a good baffle to have. | |
