I am sure someone on here will tell you a success story, it isn't me. For years I have seeded with a airplane different things annual rye, cereal rye, turnips,oats with mixed results none what I would call good. The plane cost is up can't tell how much depends on your plane. You would probably use woods out of Memphis Mo. One thing about the turnips in corn, if the corn is late harvested and we get our normal ice in early Dec. the turnips will go south in a hurry and will not be near as good a feed crop. Therefore I would prefer a cereal grass that will hold on in the fall. Also you need to limit graze via strips or it is allot of wasted feed.
