| First ? is how is it baled?
Little squares, big squares, rounds with twine or net wrap.
For big squares a layer of crushed rock under the stack and a tarp over the stack works well here.
If round baled with net I would just try to keep them off of wet ground.
Our main storage is outside with a tarp over it, when we run out of hay tarp the rest goes in the machine shed and the inside hay is used or sold 1st. | |
