So again I ask....I think they choose the city for Olympics at least 10 yrs ahead of time.....so I'll guess Bejing was chosen in '98, or maybe earlier. Chinese guys & Olympic committee probably had an idea that smog & pollution was a problem then. They "closed" the glyphosate factories in late '07. I'm not an air scientist, but does it make sense to you to "close" a factory just a relative few months before visitors arrive? No, there's more than the Olympics causing this shutdown. What other industries can anyone cite that were shut down in Bejing & may affect us directly here in the US? |
