So again I ask....I think they choose the city for Olympics at least 10 yrs ahead of time.....so I'll guess Bejing was chosen in '98, or maybe earlier. Chinese guys & Olympic committee probably had an idea that smog & pollution was a problem then. They "closed" the glyphosate factories in late '07.

No, there's more than the Olympics causing this shutdown. What other industries can anyone cite that were shut down in Bejing & may affect us directly here in the US?
