Ditto what Ed said. I grew up as a kid with CIH 7200 hoe drills. Spent many an hour with a shop vac cleaning out the drill to go to the next variety. Still remember when dad miscalculated how much seed was needed to finish the field and ended up vacuuming out about 1/3 of the drill. Never again with the air drill. Minibulk and a set of forks and its all done now. Don't ever want to go back to a box drill. There was a 56' around here for a couple of years. Actually bought a 42' and split up and kept one 14' for seeding grass seed into saline spots, plots, and drill misses (oops!!!) and for seeding our native grass seed production fields. One roll of duct tape and you can seed on 21" rows!
