Ed,

We have been fighting voles for the las five years that we knew about, probably longer. We have about 12 surface inlets for tile outlet terraces. This fall when the crops are out we have about 8 to fix. The system was put in in the early 70's and it is getting to be like swatting flies. If you make the inlet small enough so that the vole can't get in it had better be metal or they will chew in. Metal uprights don't go through the cornhead very well. I don't really have an answer.
