Thanks Dave. I haven't found any borers themselves in the whorls. They've all migrated to eating out the stalk. I've read where treatment is just money wasted on them if you spray it while they are in the stalk. I don't know what the threshold level is for egg masses on leaves, but I only find 1-2 on each plant that has damage.
