I am not real sure of your location. We have planted pearl millet here and loved it. It grew really well. The thing is that it likes it HOT and for us it never really seems to take off until the July heat waves hit then it really shines. We usually planted it in in the wettest fields as "normally" those are dry by mid June and you can get in and plant them and get something out of the wet spots. This year our temps have been all over the place. My thought is that, if you are like use weatherwise, it just hasn't stayed hot enough to turn it on. At least that is my guess. | |
