I had a Brute, left it go with a pickup, next truck I "spent the money to get the better one" and got a DMI. Here is one instance where you don't necessarily get what you pay for.

 In my opinion, the Brute is twice the bumper of the DMI if you are going to actually use it for pulling. Stronger springs, better latch. If I wanted to pull things, I would buy the Brute if it was 50% more money.
