Subject: RE: hopper extension for lexion

Renville Minnesota

We put the Mauer on ours.   Neighbor put the same Mauer on his 465, then had local machine shop weld extensions on it, then had some failures inside the tank, then beefed up some supports, then his worked fine.   Ours holds around 330  (maybe)  Neighbors was probly was 20-30 more.

If you go the route of my neighbors, call Zeigler in Marshal MN.  Ask for Paul Sanders, he will tell ya what neighbors did, but won't tell ya to do it.  (Lexion and its dealers don't like Larger aftermarket hoppers)

FWIW:  Neighbor has a 9860 that can hold 500 bushels, 700 metric duals, mudhogs, 16-22" corn head.

FWIW: 6 years with Lexion on tracks and never been stuck in the mud. Can't say the same for other combines around here riding on black doughnuts.
