Freon is low more than likely.

Used to blow them on the 4840 all the time. Had to make a jumper wire to hardwire the compressor to run to put freon in and then after it was charged back up, stuck the fuse in and everything was fine.

Stick a set of gauges on and your probably low.

I realize a deere is a far cry from a patriot but something that came to mind.
