Subject: RE: milking parlor questions

Sioux Center, Iowa
The milking center is the heart beat of your operation. Why cut corners. Swings are probably fine, if that's what you want. Someone needs to explain to me: when you're up in one corner of the pit, and a unit falls off in the opposite corner, how much fun is it to navigate through that maze of stuff around your head? We just spent 1/4 million on an all new parlor and building for a 100 cow dairy. Crazy? sort of. Do we enjoy it? yes. Does it cash fow? you bet. BTW our double 8 has 8' between the cowdecks. Lots of room and everybody loves it.
