| I would go with a parallel stall system and milk them thru the back legs, that's what I've got. Our barn used to be a old tie stall. Then converted to a 3 on a side swing line. Then to a double 3 on a side, then last remodel was a double 6 on a side parallel. I really saw no differance in mastitis from highline to a lowline. Big differance is we have to step over line at one end of the barn, but we have steps there to go out to get cows in catch pen.
