edgerton ks. | Would not be suprised. I believe banks will be pulling the plug on lot's of operation's very shortly. $7 corn look's to be a reality for the next year. Certainly look's probable that one could lose far more money in hog's holding on for the next year than one could ever hope make back in many years of profitable production. It's been many, many years scince hog's have had a windfall year. I would almost bet that the way pork production is currently structured we will never see a windfall year again. I also wonder if this might not be the final blow for the Independant producer? | |
