The problem is that if you're like us you'll want it back come late July and August. Everybody seems to talk about normal growing conditions. I have only seen one or two years that might be classified as normal. Otherwise it seems the only time we see the ground here as what it should be is for a week around the 4th of July when it goes from being flooded wet straight to a drought until it's time for fall harvest.

Last year we had over 20" of rain in May. Over 12" in one day. Continued to rain several inches about once a week until mid June when it didn't rain again until the end of August.
