Devils Lake, ND
Sub-94 day corn hybrids have improved DRAMATICALLY in the last five years. I saw a yield trial in Minot three years ago where 79 day hybrids were running 135 bu. You are three to four weeks away from needing something THAT early. Check your GDU's, but my guess is you are in a 90 to 95 day range right now. You are going to take a yield penalty compared to 113 day corn planted in good conditions on April 18th, but it isn't April anymore. A quick check of hybrid availability of the company we deal for showed decent availability. Even on triple stacks down to 91 days. RR and RR/YGCB below that.
