Subject: Snow in Wa. State too !

Kittitas Co. Wa. State

Snowed on Snoqualmie Pass Monday night-Tuesday morning. State DOT had to call out the snowplows !!  There was snow clear across the northside of the Valley about 5 am down into the sagebrush about a mile below the treeline!!  (snow somewhere around 1000-1500 feet above sea level) It was below freezing till about 7 am.

Man I gotta tell ya, yesterday 6/10 was Colder'n than a Mother-in-law's Kiss.   Intermittent rain, just barely 40 degrees and a 15-20 mph wind ALL Day long. Last Friday was the ONLY day this month the wind has NOT been blowing at least 10 mph!

Everybody's Timothy hay is looking GREAT! but everything else is looking kinda sickly.  ALL the sudan grass is yellow as a Cat, and everything else is just sitting there not growing at all. There may be some guys replanting sudan grass...  Anybody with orchard grass or Alfalfa down has got at least one wash job.

It is a new record for cold temps, snow in June.  And the Valley has a new record for wind, cold, snow, rain, etc. Temp's are 20-25 degrees where they historically are!

.......... personally,, I'm having a little problem swallowing that global warming hoopla AL Bore has been pushing.....guess he made a fair chunk of money off his book-movie and got a nobel prize outa the deal..

Ever remember the rage over "pet rocks"??  Whole lotta people spend millions buying themselves a pet rock.  Great sales pitch there too eh?
