Ditto what Joe says. Have always been told to not drive by field (corn or beans) for ten days or more. Worry about something else for that time. Had very similar hail damage in '05 at about the same time, crop still made 75 bpa, and at $7 +/-, that beats silage prices all to heck.
Hailed out corn, value as sillage.
