The way I understand it Curry is the "C" in CHS which sells germplasm on the open market. They were already using some Pioneer stuff in their lines so it makes sense.

Yes they will be accessing Pioneer germplasm as is Syngenta with the GAT agreement last year or maybe it was 2 years ago. They are not the first company to do this with Pioneer as Syngenta already did this when I was there. I would be very careful about assuming that anything they have is exclusive, as that is the standard line in most mergers and takeover for the first few years, I have been there.

When Syngenta purchased Golden Harvest they didn't by all the assets either, just the ones they wanted or could use in thier operations.

And the new bean line up, did they just make that up over night? I am pretty sure we can all see where that came from.

Anyway good luck in this deal and I am sure the Curry people did what is best for them and thier customers, however only time will tell.
