SW Ontario
I don't understand why Deere is recommending 2 row splits ( heard the same from my Deere dealer also) since there is lots of adjustibility in the swath control pro overlap to set that system up pretty accurate.

My opinion, if for whatever reason the guess row gets narrower than 10 ", I want the row off anyway.
I used to do this the real hard way. I would plant all my headlands with RR corn and the interior with non RR corn. Then I would come back in a spray the headland (on a VERY still day) with round-up the exact width of the headland. It did a perfect job of shearing off all the overlaps but it was alot of work and prone to screw ups.
It sure does make a beautiful job when you come back in to combine in the fall with no down spindly corn to deal with. Headlands yielded better too!
