Most of the post-insecticide talk is for stem maggot, I believe. They saw a 50% reduction on white heads in NDSU trials last year. Sawfly is more of a crapshot. If wheat wasn't $9, we wouldn't be hearing much about this, but you know how that goes.

My concern about this is using an insecticide that may or may not work on stem maggots and, especially, sawfly, knocking out the aphid predators, and having to come in later for them. The cotton guy know ALL about killing beneficials with insecticide.
