Subject: Re: Pearl Millet as hay

Weiner, AR
I know of a gentleman in Georgia planting our Eagle Seed Roundup Ready Large Lad Forage Soybean with Pearl Millet for Hay. We have a lot of interest this year with our RR Forage Soybeans for hay due to the high N cost. Ours are MG 6 and 7 with huge leaves and great drought tolerance. They will get over 6 feet tall and still stay upright. Last year in Georgia's drought, they still reached 5 feet. I do not know a lot about cutting soybeans for hay, but would appreciate a quick education on when to cut and how to manage once cut. Thanks, Brad.
