Subject: Crop fungicides wheat barley GOOD investment??

just a tish NE of central ND
I would like to hear your pro and cons of crop fungicides used in small grains in my area or in your area too.. (ND) Does it always seem to improve crop production?I am curious if people choose to always use it no matter what or if only if we are in a wet year where it is dewey every morning.I have heard chem reps say that it improves yeilds and will more than pay for itself on a average year even if we have DRY conditions due to improved plant health. Also, how long are fungicides effectively controling disease after application?Seems like I heard 15 days of control and then you run out of protection.Seems rather sort lived to do much good unless your timing is absolutely perfect. That could mean extra application costs also rather than a tank mix with herbicides. Oh yea, what is yoru favorite fugicides for small grains and why?
