Just finished corn over the weekend, went with 32K which is what I intended to get planted weeks ago.
On prevented planting, I made that call to the insurance agent as well. The 60% prevented planting payment of my 75% CRC coverage wouldn't really cover the nitrogen I already had down and the rent, so I planted corn. I was told in order to take prevented planting the field had to remain fallow, otherwise you could roll the coverage from corn and plant beans.
Depends on if you N down, if chems and seed are returnable or you want to store them. | |
