Why do you think wal-mart can sell cat litter cheaper than your local mom and pop grocery store? VOLUME If you went to your local ford dealer and wanted to buy 20 new f-250's wouldn't you expect to buy them cheaper than the guy that came in and priced one new one? I wouldn't get too envious of the large producers, I guarantee your costs per acre are still less than theirs. Do you know many large scale farmers who have cheap cash rent? | |
