Subject: New John Deere Corn Head 608C

N.W. Livingston County, IL
I am very concerned about our new corn head working as well or better than a well maintained JD 893 with knife rolls. Anyone have any experience with one last fall? Did anyone see a chopping head with the rotary knives work last year? I have seen a few new heads and the knife rolls appear to have a 1/4 to 1/2" gap between them. Why not swollow our pride and copy a Case Ih head? Thanks for the feadback.
