Spread it thin, should be no problem. I have been spreading fertilizer on planted crops this year in front of rains, which never seem to stop with good results. Some of the best I have.

Of course it is a salt and if you spread too much and your soil test is high in NA or sodium salts then you will have some burn it should grow out of.

Never saw a field killed by potassium whatever but I am sure someone has a story!
